Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Coordinating projects out for tender with their closing times and addendums

- Completing the take off on several aspects of the spec , sending out for competitive pricing from various manufacturers, and comprising the quotation for the contractor and making sure they receive it in a timely manner

- Following up with various contractors to see if we can supply the material for the project

- Produce shop drawings and coordinate materials required with contractor (when required on site)

- Coordinate ordering, shipping and billing aspects of the project

- Working with customers to quote, order and produce material in a timely fashion as required

- Servicing existing counter sales customers and prospecting new business

- Reliable attendance is a must due to specific deadlines for projects

Qualifications:

​

-  Successful candidates ideally have previous experience in Divisions 8 and 10 estimating

-  A construction or civil engineering background is favoured but not required

-  Knowledge of the public tendering system is an asset

-  Strong Microsoft Office skills are an asset

-  Candidate should excel at being a team player, however must be able to perform independently as well

-  Bilingualism is an asset but not required

-  Applicant must be able to provide a clear Criminal Records Check

-  Applicant must be able to provide a clear Class 5 (min) driver's license

-  Salary will be directly determined on the above factors accordingly
